Born and raised in the Houston area of Texas in the USA, I attended S.F. Austin S.U., where I graduated with a BAAS (double majors) as well as receiving my Texas State teacher's certification for Speech and Social Studies.
After graduation, I spent 3 years as a public school teacher, before moving to South Korea. From 1997 - 2008, I lived and worked in Korea as an English teacher and coach - in small private schools, with University students, teaching mothers' classes, teaching Elementary school teachers for the Korean Ministry of Education, conversational and business English with a group of Korean provincial judges, and a famous CEO for one of the Daewoo subsidiaries with his doctoral thesis in English.
Between jobs and work contracts, I had the opportunity to travel throughout Asia, a large part of (mostly Western) Europe, some in Africa.
